The story doesn't stop with the battle in heaven. The fallen angel is cast out of heaven and swears revenge upon the children of God, and supposedly he is responsible for all evil upon the earth.
There are a lot of Satan naysayers. I understand the element of the story that is a bit fantasy, that sounds more like a concoction in a medieval play than truth--or a false truth we'd prefer to assign to the imagination of artists throughout the ages.
There is one thing however, that confirms the existence of a fallen angel so embittered that he wages war upon men and women: the news. Not a day passes without a horrific byline of inhumanity.
Inhumanity: contrary to human nature and human capability.
Every human who murders, dismembers, or violates a fellow human, began as an innocent child. Yes, life circumstances may have turned the person sour, or deranged, but where did the power to do so come from?
The mother of a Columbine shooter is forever baffled about her son's unexplainable actions.
No Psychologist can explain why one abused child chose mayhem when another chose goodness and love.
It comes in the choice. Some of the choices are too horrific to not believe in the tempting power, the persuasive deception of a sworn-to-vengeance fallen angel.

I loved Paul Harvey, a clever journalist who was most famous for The Rest of the Story. He was witty, positive, and had a distinct radio voice, and he believed in Satan.
